Owens-Illinois Asbestos Personal Injury Trust
- The Owens-Illinois Asbestos Personal Injury Trust was formed in 2022 as a result of the bankruptcy of Paddock Enterprises, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiaries to resolve all asbestos claims for which those entities had legal responsibility. The Trust is organized to pay all valid asbestos personal injury claims in accordance with the Trust Distribution Procedures ("TDP") approved by the bankruptcy court. The purpose of this website is to provide information to assist claimants and others in understanding the purposes of the Owens-Illinois Asbestos Personal Injury Trust and how the Trust resolves claims. The Trust will be accepting Owens-Illinois Asbestos Claims on October 3rd, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. EST. A copy of the applicable TDP1 is available on the Trust's website. Information regarding claim filing procedures will indicate, among other things, when and how a claim may be filed with the Trust. 1To the extent any content on the website conflicts with the TDP, the TDP controls.
- The current payment percentage for Owens-Illinois (O-I) is 50% of Scheduled Value for Expedited Review and 50% of the gross settlement value for Individual Review.
